Veronica Everheart is a NYC-based music duo composed of singer Veronica Everheart and producer Justin "Juni" Neugeboren whose emotionally candid work pairs indie-rock intensity with atmospheric, digitally textured production. Moving between the Phoenix and New York music communities, Everheart writes with a diaristic sense of detail, exploring heartbreak, friendship, isolation, longing, and the difficult process of becoming oneself. Her sound is both intimate and expansive—rooted in guitar-led indie music but broadened by layered vocals, experimental textures, and a distinctly DIY sensibility. 

The duos two-part EP project, Lighter in the Morning, captures that evolution in full. Lighter in the Morning (1/2), released September 20, 2024, is a five-song sophomore E. The release centers on a coming-of-age perspective, reckoning with relationships, alienation, and the feeling of existing on the outside of one’s own world. Its companion EP, Lighter in the Morning (2/2), arrived May 1, 2026, completing the project with five additional tracks. Together, the two EPs position Everheart as a compelling voice in contemporary alternative music: personal without being insular, sonically adventurous without losing the direct emotional pull of a great indie-rock song.
